I'm trying to use the new osm2pgsql patch mode - I've imported the
whole of last Wednesday's planet using slim mode and I'm now trying to
apply the first daily patch file. However, it is *really* slow (the
patching has been running for days for just a single day's diff).
I'm seeing extremely long SQL queries logged by Postgres:
LOG: duration: 936198.972 ms statement: EXECUTE <unnamed> [PREPARE:
PREPARE node_changed_mark(int4) AS UPDATE planet_osm_ways SET pending =
true WHERE nodes @ ARRAY[$1] AND NOT pending;
Could this be something as simple as a missing index, or is something more
serious likely to be wrong?
