Hello everyone, during the development of my osmbin file-format I ahev gathered some statistics using an extract of the city of hamburg (a larger extract of all of the state of baden-wuertemberg is computing right now).

It shows the history of: * how many nodes/ways have now many tags * how many tag-values have each length (for ways and nodes) * how many ways have how many nodes referenced * how many nodes have how many ways referencing them * ... I made the linked spreadshet to find the optimum number of slots for each of these in my fixed-record-length format.
