Hello, I'm looking for a way to get the set of lat/long points that make up a street, in order to be able to highlight that street in search results, or to find points that are near to it. Is there something in the OSM API to help with this?
Ideally I'd also like to be able to extract all the streets belonging to a region ( a city ) and cache their point sets locally. For example, on newhanoian.xemzi.com it would enable a user to search for businesses on a given street or even just to search for a street (like a paper map index).
