Hans & Jon: Many thanks for the hint. It was really the "old" sources from two months ago. Postgresql intarray is not installed.
I'm trying to import it with time ./osm2pgsql --slim -C 800 -m -d gis planet-latest.osm.bz2 which works and is successfully running right now.
