The operating system I have on my computer is Windows XP.
I'd suggest trying cygwin, a bash shell for windows with a big number of
windows-binaries for userland aoolications like bzip2 or bzcat. I'd go
that way.
Yo'll need osmosis, a java tool. You can read about it and its
installation in the wiki.
