I was talking about the size of the XML before any compression, so the
number of bytes you actually download will be significantly less.
Besides does rate limiting also limit uploading? I just ask since I
can't upload now for several minutes.
No, only the map call is limited at the moment. I think somebody is
probably scraping the history api or something though which will be
affecting uploads - there have certainly been some abnormal load
warnings this evening.
