what about inserting a symlink to the latest file like this, as it is done for the .osm.bz2 files already? http://planet.openstreetmap.org/pbf-experimental/planet-latest.osm.pbf http://planet.openstreetmap.org/pbf-experimental/planet-latest.osm.pbf.md5 would be really helpful in using access to the latest files from within scripts!
