Imposm sounds relatively good, because it is my objective to generalize the tables. Unfortunately, the Diff-Import is not possible. But I will look at that. Mapproxy is a tiled-map-solution, which might be good but because of the disk-space for the whole planet it is not what i am looking for. I have already several tiled-solutions (WMSC,TMS ans WMTS) but it is a issue with the disk-space and the synchronizing with the osm-database (because of the tiles).
Therefore, i want to set up a WMS.

However thanks for the hint with Imposm.

Hej.
Im wondering if there is any solution to convert the mapnik xml to a
osm2pgsql style.
Im trying to split the tables for different zoom levels. So i need 2
tables
for roads, lines and so on. I do this to make the render-process faster (i
hope so) for wms-use.
For faster rendering you'd better use postgresql indexes than create
some non-cacheable new tables.

For fast WMS rendering you should create genaralized tables to be used for
far-away zoom levels. Have a look at Imposm
http://imposm.org/docs/imposm/latest/ and FOSS4GIS rendering benchmark
http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/foss4g/benchmarking/wms/2011/presentation/benchmarking2011.pdf

Consider also using MapProxy as a WMS accelerator.
