Hi Parveen, Sorry for the late response. Are you using the widget from a cell phone or...? In any case, I use leaflet's (leaflet.js) feature: navigator.geolocation
My assumption is, if you're using a PC or a cell phone w/o GPS turned on, the geolocation will not be as precise as it would be in optimal situation (i.e. GPS or Chrome/Chromium on a PC that has an internet connection form a router that was "found" by a phone with a GPS and it's MAC address mapped by Google - don't know the details about the last one, though) Thanks, Sandra On Wed, Jun 20, 2012 at 5:38 AM, Parveen Arora <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, Jun 19, 2012 at 3:30 AM, Aleksandra Milanovic > <[email protected]> wrote: >> Hi, >> Posting my first update. >> The project: >> http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code/2012/OSM_widget_constructor >> The actual project :) : >> http://sandra-milanovic.github.com/OpenStreetMapWidget/ > > Hi Sandra, > > Its working good and interface is also seems to be pretty good. > > I want to know which method you have opted for tracking the location, > as it has asked me to allow to track your location but tracked at the > wrong place.
