No.
The original intent of moving the diffs was to protect consumers from damage to their map and to force them to take some action because of the license change. However since there was no license action to take, a lot of them have updated to point at the "redaction period" diffs.
They knew what they signed up for when they did - they knew that they'd either have to watch the news or accept the redaction changes when they come in.
