Hi all,

When I clone various projects from github (e.g. mod_tile) I get weird
cascading branches

From https://github.com/openstreetmap/mod_tile
  * [new branch]      git-svn    -> upstream/git-svn
    96e542f..1739c6b  master     -> upstream/master
  * [new branch]      mirror/git-svn -> upstream/mirror/git-svn
  * [new branch]      mirror/master -> upstream/mirror/master
  * [new branch]      mirror/mirror/git-svn -> upstream/mirror/mirror/git-svn
  * [new branch]      mirror/mirror/master -> upstream/mirror/mirror/master

[...]

  * [new branch]
mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/master
->
upstream/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/mirror/master

I realise this is an artifact/bug of the mirroring scripts, but who
needs to do what to fix them?

I think Ævar runs the scripts:

When they are fixed, you could help, by joining the organization on github and cleaning up the mess left behind.
