planet.openstreetmap.org Mirror-er, There are major changes coming to the directory structure / file layout of the *planet.osm* files on planet.openstreetmap.org later this week.
If you use rsync to mirror the site, please turn on rsync "--hard-links" if possible. You will save a SIGNIFICANT amount of bandwidth (and time) if you rsync with the -H or --hard-links option.
