If it does, use OSMCoastline instead. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSMCoastline It has been supplying Geofabrik map and tile.openstreetmap.de now for nearly a year without any problems. You can download the coastlines from http://openstreetmapdata.com/ , they are updated daily, unless there is some big problem with broken data in which case the old version is kept.
