After upgrade from ubuntu 11.04 to 12.04 (at least this is what I suspect to be the reason) the generate-xml.py doesn't expand the filelocations to absolute paths any more. I didn't touch anything there (I think), but now instead of /home/user/mapnik/symbols/ there is just symbols/ and so on for world_boundaries etc. The script besides this works fine and includes the inc/ etc.
Any idea what might be the reason or how I could force the output to be absolute paths? thank you, Martin
