Hi! Lately I posted that I improved the generate_image.py script from OpenStreetMap SVN: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/dev/2013-November/027548.html
Now I renamed the script to 'mapnik-render-image' and renamed the project on Github accordingly: https://github.com/plepe/mapnik-render-image I decided to introduce versioning, starting with 0.1 for the original generate_image.py script and 0.2 my improvements from back then. Therefore the new mapnik-render-image starts with version 0.3.
