There are no fixed requirements except the items listed in the ideas page. Of course you can ask more detailed questions regarding the specific items (that I would find interesting and listed there). For example pick one of them that you like or a completely different idea pushing GraphHopper forward and where you imagine that this could be interesting or where you already see that it is missing. So, it is really up to you where you have interests and capabilities.
