Yes, the case I'm particularly worried about is when a controller very briefly de-configures and then reconfigures CFM for whatever reason. In this cause RDI gets set when really nothing should happen. I agree that there's nothing we can or should do about the broader issue with synchronizing CFM configuration. I'll merge this soon.
