I try to do it consistently[*]. If you find places where 0x is omitted,
let me know.
[*] Except for MAC addresses, IPv6 addresses, and similar cases, since
0x5c:0xff:0x35:0x00:0x50:0x51 and 0xfe80::0x224:0xd7ff:0xfe04:0x3f10/64
look really weird.
