I haven't heard many people doing development on openSUSE for Open vSwitch. I would suggest installing Ubuntu 14.04 and then installing the following packages to have a minimum viable dev machine. sudo apt-get install -y autoconf libtool sparse openssl pkg-config make gcc libssl-dev debhelper dh-autoreconf sudo apt-get install git git-email libmail-sendmail-perl libmailtools-perl > > > Also, we cannot add or enable tests on Windows that we know fails.
