Gerhard Petracek commented on OWB-408:
--------------------------------------
as mentioned before:
> even though it looks like an issue of mojarra it would be nice to have a
> fallback or a completely different solution for it.
> ... because dependent beans must be destroyed ...
ok - i've expected further issues.
anyway, maybe we can find an additional workaround to solve such issues as well.
the next question is if we should include it even though such issues. the patch
wouldn't harm if mojarra gets fixed.
so the question is: should we ignore mojarra for now or should we include a
patch which allows implementing apps in combination with mojarra (with some
known limitations)?
(there are also other libs out there which introduced workarounds just for
mojarra or special versions of it.)

> OwbElContextListener gets called in combination with myfaces-core but it's
> ignored in combination with mojarra (tested with mojarra 2).
> that leads to a NPE in WebBeansELResolver (there is no instance of
> ELContextStore)
> even though it looks like an issue of mojarra it would be nice to have a
> fallback or a completely different solution for it.
