A release is not yet planned but we can need to upgrade johnzon to fix some big in jsonb. There is no open issue but some enhancements to do in the docs - explain more oauth2 usage and getting started for instance - and maven plugins around packaging (we dont support windows scripts for instance). Also if you feel you miss something crucial from spring land just send a mail and we ll see if we have it or need to tackle that lack.
