Hi Greg

Following up on this thread I will be working with you on transferring the
repos to Apache org on Github.

I will put the details in the Issue tracking [1] this but going to add here
some items for the benefit of the dev list

I discussed with Jeremias we are the focal points for our dev teams, and
came up wit a proposal to try to do the migration in a smooth way to
minimize developer productivity and integrations currently using the repos.

- Transfer one first repo that doesn't have integration and low activity
(openwhisk/openwhisk-tutorial -> apache/incubator-openwhisk-tutorial)
Once transfer under Apache org and rename validate the following:
Check if all history, issues, and PRs remain
Check that all committers can still push/write to the repo
Check that if using old url location it correctly redirects (this is need
it for a short time)
Configure and Verify that PR, Issues, Push events are going to the
[email protected] mailing list
- Transfer another repo that medium traffic and contains integrations in
the CI pipeline (openwhisk/openwhisk-package-pushnotifications ->
apache/incubator-openwhisk-package-pushnotifications)
Check that one build goes thru the pipeline using the old url
- Transfer the rest of the repos except main repo (openwhisk/openwhisk)
and website repos (openwhisk.github.io, openwhisk/openwhisk-slackinvite)
Check that Integration and builds go thru pipelines
- Finally transfer the main repo (openwhisk/openwhisk ->
apache/incubator-openwhisk)
Check that integration and builds go thru pipelines

Work on the various repos and integrations and modify the url to new github
urls for the various repos

Jeremias did I missed anything, please chime in
