We've seen demand for run and done actions in several scenarios and recently a member of the community opened an issue related to this feature https://github.com/apache/openwhisk/issues/5143.
I intend to suggest a way of implementing this and will work with the interested Chiranjeevi who opened the issue on an implementation since there's an expressed interest in implementing this feature. -r
