roll bug fix releases

All,
   We should probably roll bug fix releases for 1.5 and 1.6. Are there any
bugs that we should make sure get fixed first?

   I think that I'll take a shot at ORC-361, which is the multi-threaded
fix for the memory manager.

  Any others?
