When a tree of blocks gets copied to the soup (where it's displayed) you forget to add a cloud for the missing attribute.

Can you explain this one a little? I don't see any reference to clouds in zaobao - the cloud would make sure that the appropriate attributes got copied into the soup, right? Do you think zaobao predates clouds?

When I use the parcel xml copy to copy a tree of blocks and it fails to work because of a circular dependency bug in the parcel loader.

Not sure I understand this one either - where would I be copying trees of blocks? is this something that happens after its loaded?
Repository copy historically has bugs setting None attributes as initial values -- don't know if they are all fixed.

Well, in this case None is the only time when it works - i.e. if I leave the attribute out entirely, then "None" makes it into the block just fine.
