dictate the behavior.

assume we want some custom icons for this and I'm not a graphics
designer. Is it fair to make a request on the design list for nice

Sure, you can always make request :) But I would actually advice you to
try the Mozilla discussion groups as well, since they have a bigger pool
of people. In fact, discussing the Mozilla-side of this toolbar might be
better there altogether, and just discuss the Chandler-side here.
