One of the many positive results that arose from this years Pycon was a desire by the Twisted team to leverage Chandler for their client development and a hope that Chandler would better take advantage of the many excellent features with in the Twisted Framework.
To facilitate this goal Brian Warner, a Twisted core developer, has graciously agreed to host a tutorial on the Twisted Framework for the OSAF engineering team.
The tutorial will be held on 12:15 Tuesday April 19th in the main conference room on the 5th floor.
This tutorial will be followed up at later date with a more specific session by myself covering how to develop Twisted modules in Chandler. It will cover such fun topics as working with multiple views in a single thread, RepositoryThreads, and the AbstractRepositoryViewManager.
