That is the method I am testing right now - what I did was find out what reports bonsai receives from cvs to populate the back-end database and I've gathered the various svnlook commands to generate that information. My test scripts currently generate a bonsai compatible email for about 80% and with some of the pointers you just gave I may be able to get to 100%

Right now it seems that the only thing blocking our move to Subversion
is SVN Bonsai. We have an SVN Bonsai sprint coming up April 25-27, where
the goal is to finish it, or at least get it to a state where we can
install it and start using it at OSAF.

I took a look at Bonsai to check out its capabilities - looks like most of what it does in terms of reporting logs can be done with 'svn log' . You can use svn log with without a working copy as well and viewcvs does a reasonable job of listing svn log messages; svnadmin, and svnlook also complement the svn command set's capabilities in significant ways . Are you primarily looking for a GUI interface to svn log , svnadmin, and svnlook ?

It seems like we should be able to migrate in the beginning of May,
which coincides with the official beginning of the 0.5.03 milestone cycle.

Once we have migrated, it will be easy to move directories and code
around and still maintain history.

PS. Philippe and Lisa, I think I got confused with 0.5.03 and 0.5.04 so
this actually places the move earlier than I was talking about.
