Hey folks,
As you may have seen, I've been gradually adding support for colors and yes, gradients, to the calendar UI. (and if you haven't seen it, go try it out in the latest build!) Needless to say, I'm exposing some of wxWidgets' dark side. That means that the builds will be a bit ugly in places, and on some platforms for the next day or two. But don't worry - I'm aware of the issues and I spend each day bouncing between windows, mac, and linux.

A few of the more obvious issues:
- the "day" view still looks strange, the gradients are all offset. The "all day" events also look strange when selected in the day view
- on Mac, the regular week view looks weird - again the gradients are all offset strangely.
- the color picker button and window are ugly - we're planning on having a small list of 10 colors that the user can choose from a custom popup, rather than offering them the entire 24-bit color spectrum.
- When you use the Test menu's "Generate Data" you'll get a lot of collections created, but the color doesn't actually get assigned until you click on a collection and view it in the calendar. This is to be expected, but probably won't be fixed immediately.

Anyhow, it's all "work in progress" this week - I hope to have the color/gradients cleaned up by the end of the week...

Alec
