Hi,
With OS X Tiger now shipping, is there any dev out there who already switched or tried to switch to Tiger?
If someone, please share your findings here (we're all curious...).
If none, is someone planning to or volunteering to check how Chandler and the dev tools react under Tiger?
This weekend I switched over to Tiger (an upgrade, not a clean install) and for the most part it was a smooth transition. For some reason it didn't recognize my Microsoft Natural Keyboard, and I had to plug in an Apple keyboard momentarily. Of the apps I've tried to run, so far only SSH Agent failed to work, but Ted pointed me to a better app called SSHKeychain.
I haven't tried to build, but the "cvs update; make install" route works fine, as does WingIDE. I haven't noticed any difference in Chandler running under Panther/Tiger.

Well, I tried a full build, but didn't get past persistence/db:
/usr/bin/libtool: for architecture: cputype (16777234) cpusubtype (0) file: -lSystem is not an object file (not allowed in a library)
make[2]: *** [libdb-4.3.la] Error 1
make[1]: *** [build] Error 2
make: *** [persistence/db] Error 2
But while I was waiting for the build I found an article which shows you how to run "raw" Spotlight queries in Tiger. Neat:
