A year (?) or so ago we asked what the preferred Linux development environment was with Chandler developers, and Fedora Core came out at the top (with a pretty small margin).
Fedora Core 4 has now been released and it was our original plan to switch to it. However, I would like to give the opportunity to people to comment before we officially make that switch. So, if you have changed your mind since the last time (or even if you haven't), or are new to Chandler, please comment what your preferred Linux environment is. Personally I would be inclined to stay with the Fedora family for 0.6, then reconsider in the beginning of 0.7 cycle. Note that Chandler built on FC2 now runs on many distros, like Debian. We don't know if it would hold true for builds on some other distro - we'd have to test and see. PS. The release team has not tested FC4 yet, so use it at your own risk at this point. -- Heikki Toivonen
