oh, and the reason I posted this, which I forgot to actually write:
please don't file bugs against trash for a few days. I'll post later
when I'm ready to accept bugs.

There are lots of small bugs I'm still working out - for instance,
deleting itemcollections from the sidebar may actually put them in the
trash!
