If you are in a situation where you see a new serious bug that you think
should be fixed for 0.6, and for which you may even have a patch for,
but the Bug Council has not yet looked at the bug, here's a shortcut if
you can't wait:

get in touch with one Bug Council member (in person, email, IRC,
whatever method of communications)

The Bug Council member can either approve immediately or if it feels
controversial ask feedback from other Bug Council members. Generally you
should expect an answer in an hour or so.

The Bug Council will be meeting at least twice a week, but typically
more often than that.
