The Documentation Complete milestone is just over one week away (Dec
12). This means that any epydoc or any documents checked in to
distrib/docs on the branch need to be finalized in the next week.
These are the documents I'm expecting to see in distrib/docs:
* Feeds tutorial (alecf) Bug#4027
* Schema types (twl) Bug#4028
* Blocks and events (donn) Bug#4030
* Intro paper (twl) Bug#4031
* Sharing conduit tutorial (morgen) Bug#4033
* Overall architecture document (capps) Bug#4032
* Schema API doc for use by parcel developer (pje) Bug#4186
If you are the owner of one of these docs, please try and get some sort
of draft checked in early this week so that you can get review. Some
folks have already sent their drafts to the list for review, and
everyone has been good about giving useful feedback -- so keep that up!
Pieter is willing to do some last minute copyediting. Pieter -- what is
your deadline for copyediting?
Thanks to Bear, all docs currently checked into distrib/docs and all
generated docs (epydoc and content model docs) from the branch can be
seen from here:
http://chandler.osafoundation.org/docs/0.6/
Technical specs live in a different svn repository and aren't part of
the distribution, so those edits can happen after the documentation
complete milestone. Anything on the wiki can of course also be changed
later, so that is a sort of emergency backup if something doesn't make
it into the distribution.
All of the docs will be linked from the launch site (which is still a
little rough):
http://chandler.osafoundation.org/ (main launch page)
http://chandler.osafoundation.org/fordevelopers.php (all dev docs)
Original doc plan:
http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Projects/ZeroPointSixDocumentation
Cheers,
Katie
