I think we want to use SSL because this is the final test of the configuration we would be running after Chandler launch. We do seem to have non-SSL enabled server instances running on different ports, for those who want to do interoperability testing or network logging. If you really want to pound this server and your app is not SSL enabled, you could try http://www.stunnel.org/, for example. Any Chandler folks can of course add extra instrumentation to Chandler to log the data unencrypted for the session - contact me if you need info on how to do this. -- Heikki Toivonen
