For kicks I wrote an OSX dashboard widget that gives a simple green light / red light indicator for the status of the basic unit test machines ('kona-win', 'maunaloa-linux', and 'molokini-osx'). It doesn't take the performance machines or the full build machines into account, but perhaps some day I'll make that an option.

The widget takes the form of a traffic stoplight; it will briefly show a yellow light while it accesses the tinderbox report. A red light means a test failed, and green means all unit tests are passing. Clicking on the stoplight will bring up the full tinderbox page in your browser.

Enjoy:

Once you have downloaded the .dmg file, open it by double-clicking. Inside it will be ChandlerTinderbox.wdgt; double-click the .wdgt and Dashboard should install it for you.

P.S. It's also checked into my sandbox if you feel like improving it.
