For kicks I wrote an OSX dashboard widget that gives a simple green
light / red light indicator for the status of the basic unit test
machines ('kona-win', 'maunaloa-linux', and 'molokini-osx'). It
doesn't take the performance machines or the full build machines into
account, but perhaps some day I'll make that an option.
The widget takes the form of a traffic stoplight; it will briefly
show a yellow light while it accesses the tinderbox report. A red
light means a test failed, and green means all unit tests are
passing. Clicking on the stoplight will bring up the full tinderbox
page in your browser.

Once you have downloaded the .dmg file, open it by double-clicking.
Inside it will be ChandlerTinderbox.wdgt; double-click the .wdgt and
Dashboard should install it for you.

P.S. It's also checked into my sandbox if you feel like improving it.
