The current plan regarding Chandler performance improvements is that we won't be actively pursuing new performance improvements until phase 1 (milestone 1?) of the 0.7 release cycle has passed.
However, we still want to fix any performance regressions and maintain the current numbers unless some compelling new feature requires performance sacrifices. We are also working on the new performance goals for 0.7, which will include potentially new targets for existing tests as well as new tests and most likely with new (larger) data sets. -- Heikki Toivonen
