a nice feature for the "compose mail" and "phoneview" would be
the use of global mail-template such as "answer" templates.

PS: in the AgentZoom module is the Article{Subject} at the tree-view.
like:
$ThreadStrg .= ' $TimeLong{"'.$Article{Created}.'"}
<b>$Text{"'.$Article{Subject}.
