THANK YOU! That was perfect. But, I do have one complaint. The reference
to Kernel/Config.pm is not so clear. I have found out that I must edit
Kernel/Config/Defaults.pm. That is a little confusing. But, as I have
always said. This communitity is super.

.....Or am I missing the point. I see that in the Kernel/Config.pm there
is the note:

but then what would be the complete format that I need for this change
to the MAP array? Can I just put the desired lines in the Kernel/Config.pm
[ 'UserPhone','Phone','phone', 1, 0, 'var', '', 0 ],
or must I recrete the entire Segment

in Kernel/Config.pm? Sorry, just when you think you know something - you
RTFM and are completely bewilderd again. :=)
