I think it's the good place to start a discussion. Usually they are high level tasks and it's better to have more visibility (and archived history) for any conclusion / design discussion.

Especially as this page is a generic collection of "idea"s and some of them can be specified only the author of the idea. (For example I know that adding object id was suggested for the Fuse file systems, but without having one I am not sure the exact requirements)

Hi,
Would like to further the discussion on specific project ideas / tasks that
can be done to try to start to contribute to the project. A wiki page
describing project ideas for new contributors, "
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/HADOOP/Ozone+project+ideas+for+new+contributors";,
outlined to flush out details on this list.

Is this the correct forum to discuss and get more detail on small self
contained projects such as adding object id and change ids to buckets and
keys, etc? Is this place best or the slack #ozone channel?

Thanks!

Regards,
Neil
