Sammi - Deleting service bug fixes and improvement JIRA, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-11506. - October Ozone meetup videos are under preparation . - Block pre-allocation proposal, see attached design document. Pony - 1.4.1 RC2 is done. May need RC3 to update the security.md. - Some specific containers, all three replicas have empty metadata. All containers trace back to one bad disk on one datanode. There is no obvious failure in datanode logs about container migration failure or rocksdb failure. Cannot do some further checks on this datanode now for it's retried. Suggest to turn on Ozone Disk Scanner to help reveal some disk failures as early as possible. Hao/Mingyu/Zhan - Working on a block bash allocation prototype. - Filed HDDS-11633 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-11633> for the block delegation request exceeds SCM ratis max msg size issue. - Large MPU file uploads cause OM GC pressure, and increase rocksdb write workload. - Propose that scan rocksdb in disk scanner can skip block cache, to avoid invalid useful content in block cache. - Published a blog <https://zhy.muyin.360.cn/pc/article.html?shop_id=piNzNQJqPV&goods_id=fzmziqjUkV>about the performance benefits introduced by HDDS-1033. Chung En Lee - "HDDS-10338. Implement a Client Datanode API to stream a block" is under review.
