Thanks for starting the discussion.

Since this Apache project is not exclusive to Flink, I think it could
deserve its own Slack workspace entirely - not sure on how the logistics of
that works. Initially I was thinking it would be good to have a dedicated
channel in the current Apache Flink Slack workplace, but I don't think that
is actually a good idea anymore.
