Users do not understand how the number of small files comes from. But the document of java api now is not friendly because it's hard to get it work for new learner. Maybe we need a complete runnable example to help someone interested in donating code for paimon. 3、https://github.com/apache/incubator-paimon/issues/1144 [docs] Docs about s3 storage is fuzzy, need a example explain how to link s3 storage. A doc page to demonstrate how to use s3 storage in paimon. 4、https://github.com/apache/incubator-paimon/issues/1146 [docs] Paimon have two stage to complete writing and committing. While a checkpoint comes, we do something in prepareSnapshot, pass the commitable to the commit stage task. In snapshotStates phase, we write these message into a state. When acknowledge checkpoint, we call the commit to generate a new paimon snapshot. We need a page to explain this process, explain how paimon works with flink. Best, Junhao
