+1 for this change. We have deployed multiple engines (such as Spark and Flink) to read and write Paimon in our internal environment, and we need to use Hive metastore for unified management of Paimon tables. We found that if users need to manually set this option, metadata for many Paimon tables is missing in HMS. I would prefer this option to be set to 'true' by default, eliminating the need for manual configuration by users.
