checksum
  - confirmed the source tarball matches the final v0.1.0-rc1 tagged commit
  - checked LICENSE and NOTICE, and verified dependency license checks 
passed
  - built successfully with `cargo build --workspace --release`
  - all tests passed with `cargo test --workspace --all-targets`
