Hi everyone, I'd like to propose removing PrivilegedCatalog.
Our catalog development is now centered on RESTCatalog, which covers the use cases PrivilegedCatalog was intended for. PrivilegedCatalog no longer provides distinct value, while keeping it adds an extra API and ongoing maintenance burden. Unless there are remaining use cases that RESTCatalog cannot support, I propose removing PrivilegedCatalog and directing users to RESTCatalog instead. Please share your thoughts, especially if you are aware of any use cases or compatibility concerns that still require PrivilegedCatalog. Best, Jingsong
