Hi, everyone On behalf of the PMC, I'm very happy to announce Hongbo Xiao (hope) as the new Paimon PMC Member.
Hongbo has made sustained, substantial, and broad contributions to the Apache Paimon project since December 2024. Her contributions cover a wide range of important technical areas, including REST Catalog APIs, PyPaimon, Data Evolution, Ray integration, BLOB and VARIANT support, vector and global indexes, native Rust scan planning, release engineering, and correctness and performance improvements across the Flink and Spark integrations.
