The Project Management Committee (PMC) for ApacheParquet has asked Alex
Levenson and Daniel Weeks to become committers and we are pleased to
announce that they have accepted.

Alex Levenson contributed the RLE encoding a while ago and more recently
made a major contribution with the predicate push down implementation. He
has also been giving thorough and thoughtful code reviews.

Daniel Weeks has done many improvements to the Parquet Pig Loader and in
general making sure Pig, Hive and Parquet work well together. He regularly
contributes or help others to contribute and helps removing rough edges.
He's been a regular to the Parquet sync ups.

Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is
no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better
productivity.

Let's congratulate them for this achievement.

Julien
