I worked on a contribution to parquet and wanted to make sure that the tests
are still passing. After they failed on parquet-hive (i've modified
parquet-encoding only) I decided to try the code from master and got the
described errors.
- Yes, I'm running {{mvn clean}} after every "experiment".
