Hi Andreas,
maybe using /documentation/ as part of the url for all documentation related
parts [something I wanted to do further enhancing the CMS structure] I'd
suggest a slightly different scheme
/documentation/<version>/javadocs has the javadocs for the corresponding version
/documentation/javadocs points to the latest version
/apidocs points to the latests version for backwards compatibility
+1 for using ext path
+1 for using java7 for the documentation
